NLI’s Wildfire Mitigation Plan

Montana’s recently passed House Bill 490 (HB490) requires electric cooperatives like NLI to develop a Wildfire Mitigation Plan—a strategic roadmap for reducing wildfire risk and protecting our communities.
As part of this process, we are seeking input from our members and the public to help shape the final version of the Plan. Your feedback is vital to ensure the Plan reflects the values and needs of the communities we serve.
To provide feedback in person, we will host a public meeting at our Sagle, Idaho headquarters on June 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM PDT. This meeting will include a brief overview of the draft plan followed by a Q&A and public comment session.
The public comment period will remain open through June 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM PDT.
